Spéna, a Colline Novaresi DOC wine shows us that Piedmont is not made only of Barolo or Barbaresco: it is in fact from the Novara Hills that this pure Nebbiolo comes from, aged for two years in Slavonian oak tonneau and produced by the Cantinoteca dei Prolo.
Spéna is a red that will make you discover how Nebbiolo is not successfully cultivated only in the areas belonging to the most prestigious appellations, but is bred throughout Piedmont, to get to give wines of depth and at the same time extremely pleasant.
Ruby red color, fine spicy nose with hints of cinnamon, elegant in the mouth, pleasant to drink, with smooth tannins and good flavor.
